Christine Ann Walker, 51 of South Fork, CO formerly of Lewiston, NY passed away at home from a stroke on Thursday January 1, 2015. Born April 22, 1963 in Lewiston, NY she is the daughter of William T. and Elizabeth (Staskiewicz) Walker of Lewiston, NY.

Christine was a 1981 graduate of Lewiston-Porter High School, and a 1985 graduate of the State University of New York at Geneseo where she was a member of Alpha Kappa Phi (AGO) Sorority. Chris worked at Frontier Chemical Waste Co. in Niagara Falls before relocating to Colorado to work at the Environmental Chemical Corp. Superfund cleanup site at Summitville, CO. Christine went on to become the co-owner and operator of the Rockaway Café and Steak House in South Fork, CO. Chris was very active in local community organizations which included; the Red Hat Society, Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis Club. Her restaurant in conjunction with the Chapel of the South Fork Church also hosted monthly luncheons for less fortunate residents of her area. In her spare time, Christine enjoyed attending the Farmers Market, traveling, target shooting and was a certified SCUBA diver.

In addition to her parents, Christine is survived by her sister; Wendy (Tom) O'Malley of Lewiston, NY and brother Jeffrey T. Walker of Colorado Springs, CO, her nieces and nephews; April Van Den Bosch, Matthew O'Malley, Jamie O'Malley, Emma Walker and Owen Walker, her sister-in-law; Judy Walker, aunts and uncles; Kathy and Dave Hyatt, Michael and Gayle Staskiewicz, John Walker, and her best friend and business partner; John Trela as well as cousins; Jennifer, Michael, Adam and Rachel Hyatt, Kayla and Joey Staskiewicz. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents; Florian and Helen T. Staskiewicz, and paternal grandparents; Frank and Mary Walker.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday April 25th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's RC Church 620 Center St. Lewiston, NY with Msgr. David LiPuma officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery Lewiston, NY. If desired, memorial donations in memory of Christine may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado, 311North Logan Avenue Colorado Springs, CO 80909, or to a charity of one's choice.
