Clara L. Fostin, 97, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on May 16, 2024 at Weinberg Campus in Getzville, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Antoinette (Giordano) Lumia.

Clara was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School.  On August 26, 1972, she married Frank R. Fostin.  Mr. Fostin predeceased her on November 16, 2013.  Clara was employed for nearly 40 years as an executive secretary with the Carborundum Corporation until her retirement, and she was an active member of many clubs and organizations at the company.  Clara was also a longtime parishioner of Prince of Peace Church.  In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling and taking trips to

Las Vegas.  Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her great nieces and great nephews.

Clara is survived by her nieces, Laurene (Ron) Winkley and Diane (Joseph) Riggi, as well as several great nieces, great nephews and cousins.  In addition to her husband of 40 years, she was predeceased by her siblings, Ercole (late Joyce) Lumia and Angelo Lumia, and her niece, Patti (Frank) Linza.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23 from 9 – 10:45 AM at M.J.
