IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Clara I.
Marcheschi
August 6, 2024
Beloved Matriarch, Wife, Mother, Nane, Sister, Aunt and Friend, Clara Inez Marcheschi, 88, entered into rest on August 6, 2024 in Melbourne, FL, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Red Level, Alabama, on August 31, 1935, she was the eldest of four and the only daughter of the late Randolph Hubert Browder and Gladys Adell (Bates) Browder. As a young girl, her family relocated to a small farming community in Jay, FL where she attended school. From humble beginnings on the family farm, her life was a tremendous reflection of perseverance and determination. With the grit and strong work ethic instilled by farm-life, she forged her way through adversity and built a life of which most can only dream. Together, with her husband Gimi and God as their co-pilot, they built an extraordinary life of success on a foundation of faith and unparalleled hard work. She enjoyed the fruits of their labor immensely, notably with world travel, boundless love and generosity, and her enduring gratitude.
During her working years she was employed by Kimberly Clark and Harrison Radiator/General Motors for a collective 37 years. Upon early retirement and yearning to be closer to family, she and Gimi retired to Melbourne, Florida.
They've lived their Golden years to the fullest, and her life was a beautiful testament of Jesus' love and limitless faith. She never met a stranger, and to know her was to love her. She shared God's love through her beautiful, sweet spirit with everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. She was a classy lady. Her remarkable fashion sense and style were a testament to her vibrant personality. She always had a smile, and always left you better than she found you.
The most important thing in her life was her relationship with Jesus. She was an ordained minister and devoted Christ follower. She loved the Lord, honored Him and celebrated Him in all she did. She was His faithful servant and was actively involved in her church here in Florida, and previously in Niagara Falls. Having also served as President of Women's Aglow, she delighted in serving Him, celebrating Him and in all things that honored His Kingdom.
She loved sports and spent many a day gathered with family and friends for game night. She was a fierce competitor and to the dismay of the runners-up, she loved to bask in the glory of a win. She enjoyed watching tennis, basketball and the Buffalo Bills with her husband and loved a joyful celebration after a triumphant big win.
Of all of her notable achievements, her greatest earthly joy and favorite accomplishment was her family. She was a true matriarch who loved without end and celebrated every family success and milestone with tremendous pride; after all, it was a result of her intercession. She loved hard and left us with an eloquent word of wisdom, "Always know there's a God!" Though we cannot fathom a world without her, she leaves behind an adoring family that will do our best to continue her legacy….
In addition to her husband of 45 years, Gimi Marcheschi, she leaves behind her children, Patricia Ann Gregory and John Wayne Wilkerson; her grandchildren, Roni Ann (Mike) Elam, Kimmie Lee (Barbara) Coley; her great-grandchildren, Kristin (Ricky) Geer and Justin Elam; great-great-grandchildren, Bentley and Jolee; her brother, Jerry (Darlene) Browder; step-children, Mickey (Greg) Lohf and James Marcheschi; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, friends, and grand-pup, Kipton Blue Coley. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Roy and James Browder.
