Clara M. Palka, age 94 years, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center Niagara Falls, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Kobos) Gregorski.

Clara was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area.  She attended local schools, graduating from Niagara Falls High School in 1942 and Niagara County Community College in 1976.  She was in the 2nd graduating class of the American Red Cross Nurse's Aide Program.  Clara was employed by Bell Aerosystems for 20 years retiring in 1975.  She was a Senior Companion for HANCI for 23 years and received a 20 year pin.   Clara was a past member of the former Toast Mistress Club.

Clara is survived by her children, Christine (Daniel) Palka Poczciwinski and Peter A. (Bonnie) Palka; five grandchildren, Elizabeth (Brandon) Sargent, Marie (Pete) Webb, Andrew Palka, Michael Samm and Laura Samm; five great-grandchildren, Fletcher Webb, Keaton Webb, Anderson Sargent, Claire Sargent and Grayson G. Lloyd; two brothers, Frank (Kay) Gregorski and Richard (Patricia) Gregorski, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by her son Walter Palka and two brothers, Edwin (Florence) Gregorski and Joseph (Lottie) Gregorski.

Clara donated her body to the University at Buffalo's Anatomical Gift Program for medical research.  A memorial service will be held on October 5 ^th , 2018 at 10 A.M. Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301.  Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Clara's memory may be made to Heart Love & Soul, Inc., 939 Ontario Ave, Niagara Falls, NY 14305.  Please visit www.mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
