Coladean Westefield, 90, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Wednesday April 18, 2012 surrounded by her family in Niagara Falls, NY. Born in Opp, AL she was the daughter of the late John William Hiram and Ada Elizabeth (Parker) Day.
'Granny' as she was known to her family and friends attended local schools in Alabama and came to Niagara Falls in 1949 where she lived until the present time. She worked as a seamstress for various local companies in Niagara Falls, NY. In her leisure time, Granny enjoyed gardening, sewing and babysitting.
Mrs. Westefield is survived by three daughters Celia Dean (Thomas Sr.) Trapasso of Lewiston, NY; Tina Conrad of Amherst, NY and Bobbi Elizabeth Westefield of Niagara Falls, NY; six grandchildren Tamra, Ami, Gene Jr. (Annie), Kari (Adam) and Jonathan (Tara), Ricky Jr., twelve great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother and two sisters B.C. Day, Wilma Jean Harrell and Angela Walterhouse.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday April 21st at 11 a.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY with Rev.
