Concetta I. "Connie" (Rutigliano) Cale, 93 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on October 16, 2016 at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility. Born in Barletta, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Giovanna Rutigliano.

Connie as she was affectionately known, came to Niagara Falls as a child with her family. She attended local schools and at the age of 14 when her mother passed away, took on the role of helping her father raise her siblings. On January 31, 1948, she married Samuel L. Cale at St. Joseph's Church. Mr. Cale predeceased her on April 16, 2002. Connie was an outstanding cook. She was avid golfer and member of the Hyde Park Ladies 9 Hole Golf Club, where she also served as past president for two terms. Connie also participated in the Hyde Park Bocce League and was a member of 'The Late Late Club' a women's social club she was involved with for over fifty years.

Mrs. Cale is survived by her two children, Joanne (late Richard) Marasco and Samuel J. (Patricia) Cale both of Niagara Falls, her grandchildren, Matthew M. Marasco, Lea S. (Casey) Williams, Samuel D. Cale and Chelsea C. Cale, step-grandchildren, Tom (Kristin) Huff, Fred (Anita) Huff and Wendy (Matthew) Sharp, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Connie was also predeceased by four brothers, Jack (late Josephine) Rutigliano, Frank (Angela of California) Rutigliano, Pasquale (Margaret of California) Rutigliano, Sam Rutigliano and one sister, Lena (late Tony) LaDuca.
