Connie D. Renford-Phipps, 65, of Buffalo, NY, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at her residence. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Willie Mae (Solomon) Renford.

Raised in Niagara Falls, Connie was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and later earned her Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts from Niagara County Community College. For many years, she worked as a cook at various restaurants throughout Niagara Falls and Buffalo. In 2014, she made Buffalo her home, continuing her work and building meaningful connections within the community.

Connie was deeply devoted to her Christian faith and her church, which remained central to her life. She was an excellent cook, known for preparing meals with love, and she found great joy in dancing. Above all, Connie cherished her family. They were her greatest pride, and she treasured every moment spent with them. One of her most memorable celebrations was her 60th birthday party, lovingly hosted by her family, a day filled with laughter, joy, and memories she held close to her heart. She will be missed greatly by her beloved friends and family.

Connie is survived by her loving sons, Robert Renford and Justin Renford; her sisters, Daisy Mae Renford and Patricia (Ralvin) McKoy; and her brothers, Edward (Ruthie) Renford, Phillip Renford, and Eugene Renford, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Adele (Winston) Clarke and Barbara Ann Renford.
