Constance “Connie” Colavecchia, 95, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2026. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Clara (Riggi) Verciglio, and the step‑daughter of Rose Pezzimenti, who lovingly raised her after Clara's passing when Connie was just five years old.

Connie attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On September 30, 1950, she married the love of her life, Peter J. Colavecchia, at St. Joseph Church.

Connie loved completing crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and was an excellent cook and baker. She also enjoyed drawing, music and dancing.

Connie was a true beauty—graceful, warm, and effortlessly elegant in the way she carried herself. Above all, Connie loved her family immensely and treasured every moment spent together.

Connie is survived by her only child and devoted daughter, Paulette Queler of Palm Beach, FL; her grandchildren, Peter Woolverton and Jeffrey Woolverton; her great-grandchildren, Lukas, Ella and Demi Woolverton; her brother, Paul Verciglio; her sisters-in-law, Ann Worley, Charlotte Verciglio and Trudy Verciglio; her beloved caretaker, Jennifer Bossinger, whom was an angel from heaven, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Connie was predeceased by her husband, Peter Colavecchia and her brother, Joseph Verciglio.
