Constance V. (Yarussi) Lucantonio, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Friday January 7, 2011 at Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital in Buffalo, NY. She was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada on January 30, 1921, the daughter of the late Nick and Angeline (Calabretta) Yarussi.

Connie moved to Niagara Falls, NY as a child with her family and attended local schools. She married Ernest Lucantonio on April 19, 1941 at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY and was predeceased by him on April 15, 2002. Connie attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and was a member of their Altar and Rosary Society.

Mrs. Lucantonio's survivors include a daughter Virginia (William) Rufran of Lewiston, NY; two sons Ernest (Ellen) Lucantonio and Ronald (Vi) Lucantonio both of Niagara Falls, NY and was the proud grandmother of Stephanie Marazzo, Ernest Lucantonio, Amy (Garrett) Stack, Rachelle (Jeff) Showers and Bernard (Danielle) Lucantonio. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren, one brother Mario (Marie) Yarussi of Niagara Falls, NY; one sister Pat (late Paul) Morreale of Niagara Falls, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by two sisters Mary Sepielli and Carmella Baldassaro.

Friends may call on Sunday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Everyone is invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday January 10th at 12:30 p.m. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment in St. Joseph Church Niagara Falls, NY.
