Constance M. "Connie" (Sauro) Civiletto, 93, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Wednesday September 29, 2010 at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility in Niagara Falls, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Carmelo and Anna (Balsamello) Sauro.

Connie was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY and attended local schools. On April 10, 1940 she married Peter J. Civiletto at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls. Mr. Civiletto predeceased her on January 29, 1995. Connie was a sales associate at the former Kresge's Department Store on Main Street in Niagara Falls and later became a manager at the former Jenss Department Store at the Mil Pine Plaza and Summit Park Mall locations where she retired from in the 1980's after more than thirty years of service. She was a former member of the John Duke Senior Center, and a long-time member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, both in Niagara Falls. Connie was devoted to her family and centered her life around her grandchildren.

Mrs. Civiletto is survived by three daughters Marilyn (Joseph) Bruno of Hilton Head, SC; Janice (Frank) Clark of Atlanta, GA and Patricia (Gregory) Manarino of Niagara Falls, NY; seven grandchildren David (Deanne) Bruno, Dr. Lauri (Dr. David) Carrier, Robert (Michele) Bruno, Jacquie (Jim) Lager, Jennifer (Michael) Kirchner, Tricia Manarino and Frank Manarino, fourteen great grandchildren: one sister Sadie (late Ted) Walos of Niagara Falls, NY and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three sisters and three brothers, Mary (late Joseph) Corieri, Carolyn (late Peter) Inzinca, Rose (late Joseph) Mazza,
Samuel (late Jesse) Sauro, Joseph Sauro, and Vincent Sauro; also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

The Civiletto family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Schoellkopf Health Care Facility for their compassion and expert care.

Friends may call on Thursday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday October 1st at 10:00 AM in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery.
