Craig L. Norwood, 46 of Lewiston, NY, courageously went out fighting on August 10, 2017 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute after a lengthy illness.  Born in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Leslie Norwood and Jeanette (Hooper) Norwood.

Craig graduated from East Aurora High School, and served in the United States Marine Corp Reserves.  He was most recently employed as a welder and welding inspector at API Heat Transfer in Buffalo, NY.  Craig had a love of motorcycles and Formula One racing.  He was an avid sports fan and also enjoyed Japanese artwork, listening to music and attending concerts.  Above all, Craig had a love for animals, especially his three fur babies, Magnus, Dudley and Emmy, and will be remembered for his willingness to always help anyone in need.

Craig is survived by his beloved wife, Brandee (Hernik) Norwood, his siblings, Belita Norwood, Nanette Norwood, Duane Norwood and their mother, Patricia Norwood, his father and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Barbara Hernik, as well as several nieces and nephews.  He was also predeceased by one brother, Keith Norwood.

There will be no prior visitation.  A celebration of life in honor of Craig, will be held at a later date.  If desired, memorial offerings in his memory may be made to the Colon Cancer Alliance 1025 Vermont Ave., NW - Suite 1066 Washington, DC 20005.
