Daniel A. O'Reilly, 75, of Tonawanda, NY, formerly of the Town of Niagara, passed away on January 29, 2017 while under the care of Hospice Buffalo. Born in Buffalo, NY he was the son of the late Allen J. and Lenora (Mears) O'Reilly.
Daniel was raised and educated in Buffalo and moved to the Niagara Falls area in the late 1960's. During peacetime in the 1960's, he served in the Tank Division of the United States Army in Germany. Dan was employed as a machinist with Occidental Chemical Company for thirty four years until his retirement in 2000. Dan had a love for animals especially his pet dogs and cats and was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. He was a member of St. Leo's Church in the Town of Niagara, and in his leisure time also enjoyed movies and model trains.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Debra E. (Diehl) O'Reilly, one son Paul ParDee of Tonawanda, NY and was predeceased by one brother Michael Graham.
There will be no prior visitation. Private funeral services and entombment in Forest Lawn Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
