Daniel J. Penque, 74, born June 3, 1949, peacefully went home to be with The Lord on April 6, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. He is now reunited with his beloved wife and love of his life, Patricia C. (Curcio) Penque, who preceded him in passing on August 25, 2016.

Daniel was born to the late Angelo and Loretta (Vinette) Penque in Niagara Falls, NY where he was a lifelong resident. Daniel has two siblings, brother, David "Angelo" (Michelle) Penque of Cold Spring, Kentucky, and sister, the late Yvette (Aldo) Lucantoni. He was a loving and proud, father and grandfather to his son Daniel P. Penque, daughter-in-law, Cathleen (Barteck) Penque, and grandchildren Hannah and Noah Penque. He cherished his niece Christina Penque, along with other beloved nieces and nephews, including Giannina Lucantoni and Erica Penque. Daniel is also survived by his aunt, Lorraine Maglio, and dear friends, Sandi Mitulinsky and Dave Huntoon.

Daniel was a graduate of Bishop Duffy High School, class of 1968. Daniel proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, receiving an honorable discharge. On May 6, 1972, he married his high school sweetheart, Patricia C. Penque. They were happily married 44 years until her passing.

Daniel had a passion for travel, especially to Walt Disney World, where he created cherished memories with his family. He was actively involved in his church and proudly ordained in ministry, serving his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with dedication and compassion. Known for his kindness, generosity, and loving nature, Daniel touched the lives of many. He was a loyal fan of the New York Yankees and admired the actress Sophia Loren. Daniel enjoyed spending time with friends at Tim Hortons and The Jetport, where he fostered lasting friendships. Daniel's legacy of love, faith, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 11 from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin on Friday at 11 AM.
