A hunter's heart, a friend so true, in open fields, with skies of blue. He found his peace in sun and breeze, among the quiet, rustling trees. A steady hand, a caring soul, He made our broken spirits whole. Our memories of him won't depart, Forever etched within each heart.

Daniel A. Young, 41, of Lewiston, NY, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on August 1, 2025. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the beloved son of Timothy and Tina (Clancy) Young.

Dan was a graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School and went on to earn his associate's degree from Finger Lakes Community College. For over 25 years, he was a dedicated employee of Ken Young Paving, working alongside his Uncle Ken and cousin Brandon.

An avid outdoorsman, Daniel loved hunting, fishing, or spending time at his cabin in Swain, NY. He also enjoyed playing corn hole and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Dan is survived by his brother, Kevin (Kelley) Young, his beloved dog, Willow, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and countless friends.
