Dario Farallo, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at N.F. Memorial Medical Center. Born in Giuliano di Roma, Italy he was the son of the late Salvatore and Maria Farallo.


Dario was educated in Italy and served in the Italian Army during World War II. Following his discharge in 1945, he came to the United States and settled in Niagara Falls, NY where he lived until the present time. He married his loving wife, Domenica Helen (Malizia) Farallo, at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Dario worked as a barber at his father-in-law's business Donald's Barber Shop in Niagara Falls, NY which he later owned and operated until his recent retirement in January of 2015. Dario was an avid golfer and aced a hole in one at the Hyde Park Golf Course in Niagara Falls. One of his greatest pleasures in life, was traveling and going on cruises with his wife.


In addition to his wife of 60 years, Dario is survived by one son Livio "Lee" Farallo of Niagara Falls, NY and one grandson Andrew Farallo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dario was predeceased by his three brothers Joseph Farallo, Enzo Farallo and Bill Farallo.


Visitation will be on Friday from 3 – 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, April 11th at 11 a.m. at Divine Mercy Church, 2437 Niagara Street, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Jacek Mazur officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
