David F. Calandrelli, 71 of Durham, NC formerly of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on March 23, 2016. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Robert and Dorothy Jean (Webb) Calandrelli.

David attended local Niagara Falls schools and served in the United States Air Force. He was employed by the City of Niagara Falls Sanitation Department and worked security at Art Park in Lewiston. He was a longtime member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Niagara Falls. David enjoyed the casino and playing chess. He had a love for birds, especially owls. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his family and having his favorite food, hotdogs.

He is survived by two daughters, Lisa Jean Nickles of Niagara Falls and Terri Ann (Brian) Orsolits of Depew, four grandchildren, Richard Gabrielli. II, Jacqueline (Michael) Phillips, Jessica Gabrielli and Nadine Orsolits, two great-grandchildren, David Nickles and Jayden Saverino, his brother, Robert (late Beverly) Calandrelli of Chicago, his former wife Paulette K. Calandrelli, son-in-law Charles Nickles as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
