David R. Flaim, 69, of Grand Island, NY passed away on Monday, February 2, 2015 in Amherst, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Albeno and Margaret (Mossatti) Flaim.

David attended local schools including NCCC where he earned an Associate's Degree. In 1966 he married Melinda (McCumber) Flaim who predeceased him in 2003. He was employed as a mechanical engineer at Cannon Design on Grand Island, NY for thirty years. David had a passion for his cars which he enjoyed taking to various shows. He especially loved the 1932 Coupe he built. But David's greatest pleasure was spending time with his family particularly his grandchildren.

David is survived by two children Kristine (Gary) Price of Amherst, NY and Eric (Denise) Flaim of North Tonawanda, NY; four grandchildren Sarah, Spencer, Nickolas and Nino and one brother Daniel (Marjorie) Flaim of Grand Island, NY.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3 – 8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Thursday February 5th at 10 a.m. Interment in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
