David L. Honadle, Sr., 55, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Thursday October 4, 2012 at his residence after a brief illness with cancer. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of Patricia (O'Neill) Honadle of Niagara Falls, NY and the late John Henry Honadle, Sr.
David was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. He attended local schools and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School in 1975. On June 22, 1985 he married Susan P. (Polizzi) Honadle at the former Wintergarden in Niagara Falls, NY. David was employed as a pasteurizer at the former Wendt's Dairy and as a night manager for more than twenty years at Honey's Pizzeria, both located in Niagara Falls, NY. He was a sports enthusiast with a passion for baseball. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, Oakland Raiders, and Buffalo Sabres; David also enjoyed working on cars with his sons, Frank and David

In addition to his wife of twenty seven years and his mother, David is survived by three children, David Honadle, Jr., U.S. Navy, stationed in Virginia Beach, VA; Catherine (Katie) Honadle and Frank Honadle both of Niagara Falls, NY; three sisters, Gail Losgar, Judy Honadle both of Niagara Falls, NY and Debbie (Dan) Cich of Grand Island, NY and was predeceased by one brother John Henry Honadle, Jr. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, a great-niece, and will be sadly missed by his loving family dog Sammy Honadle.
There is no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Saturday October 13th at 10 a.m. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 101 John James Audubon Parkway, Amherst, NY 14228.
