David M. Reele, 49, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away early Monday morning surrounded by family and friends, after a brief illness. He was born on Sept. 7th, 1962 to David and Ann Marie (Laurenzi) Reele. David married the love of his life, Susan M. Moore, on May 28th, 1983.
David 's first priority was to his wife, two daughters, Sarah and Samantha, and his son-in-law David. He considered his family his greatest accomplishment and was extremely proud to acknowledge it.
A life long resident of Niagara Falls, he attended area schools including NFHS. David was in the car business for most of his life here in Western New York, chances are if you bought a car in the 80s or 90s, he probably sold it to you. After leaving the car business, he worked as a regional sales manager for Prime Source, and retired in 2001.
David had a multitude of interests and hobbies. He coached baseball for Whirlpool and Hyde Park little leagues, as well as playing for both during his childhood. He was an avid golfer and bocce player. His passion was cooking. His hot peppers and brushetta are area favorites. He loved to entertain at home. He was "master of the grill". David was a born leader and loved being in charge of anything. Most importantly, he enjoyed his Italian herittage and passing that tradition on to his family. His family and friends were his most treasured hobby.
David is surrvived by his wife, Susan(Moore), two daughters, Sarah (David) Collins of Niagara Falls and Samantha Reele of Niagara Falls; his parents, David and Ann Marie (Laurenzi) Reele of Henderson, Nevada; his mother and father- in -law, William and Lily Moore, of Niagara Falls; a sister, Maria(Frank Pallaci) Reele-Adam of Niagara Falls; a brother, Peter (Teresa) Reele,of Henderson, Nevada; a sister-in-law, Cindy(Mike) Thompson, of Westerville, Ohio; sister-in-kind, Karen Bush of Niagara Falls; nieces and nephews; Ruth (Alisha)Thompson, Michael (Katie) Thompson, Kate Thompson, AJ Thompson, John Adam,Mallory Adam, Isabella Reele and Gianna Bush, and his beloved puppies "the boys" Bruno and Petey. He is pre-deceased by his grandparents; Mary and Peter Laurenzi and Mary and Peter Reele.
David's wife and daughters would like to thank his family and friends for all of their support during this time. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3 – 8 PM at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY RD. NIAGARA FALLS, NEW YORK. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, February 9th at 11:00AM at St. Vincent de Paul Parish in St. Leo's Church 2748 Military Rd Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
