David M. Williams, 57 of Williamsville, NY passed away at his residence on Tuesday June 1, 2010. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late LaVerne R. and Esther M. (Favro) Williams.

Raised and educated in Niagara Falls, David was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and later attended Niagara County Community College. For the past twenty years, David has resided in Williamsville, and currently owned and operated Axxcess Insurance Agency in Amherst, NY. In his leisure time, he enjoyed hunting, golfing and playing volleyball. He also took great pleasure in woodworking and cooking. David was a member of the Grand Island Moose Lodge and Grand Island Golf Club. David was especially devoted to ChildFund International, an organization to help children in need, and was sponsor of four children.

David is survived by his wife Darcy A. (Nizialek) Williams, his three children, Marcus L. Williams of Niagara Falls, NY, Callitia M. (David) Domzalski of Lancaster, NY, Steven D. Williams of West Seneca, NY, his step-son Nicholas Lovetro of Grand Island, NY, three grandchildren, Caden R. Williams, Simon D. Williams and Anneliese A. Domzalski, and one sister Paula M. (Martin) Shimmel of Lewiston, NY. He was the son-in-law of Donald Nizialek, brother-in-law of Derek (Ana Garcia) Nizialek and Darilyn Scheuing, uncle of Sara N. Shimmel, Gabriela Nizialek, Kalista Nizialek, Zachary Scheuing and Taylor Scheuing.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI AND SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday June 4th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Pius The X Church, 1700 N. French Road Getzville, NY with Rev. James O'Connor officiating. EVERYONE WILL ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment will be held in Holy Trinity Cemetery Lewiston, NY. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to the Matthew Foster Foundation 170 Valley View Dr. Elma, NY 14059.
