Deborah (Longo) Alexander 57, of Grand Island, New York died Sunday March 15, 2009 at home. She was the first Premature baby delivered in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center on July 2, 1951 to the late John and Frances (Megliore) Longo.

She married her husband James M. Alexander October 4, 1972 in Walnut St. Christian Church, Niagara Falls, NY, and resided in Grand Island for the last 23 years coming from Niagara Falls, NY. Deborah was educated in Niagara Falls and in her spare time she enjoyed crocheting and served as a youth volunteer for AWANA club. Deborah's greatest pleasure was spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband of 37 years Mrs. Alexander is survived by two children James J. Alexander of Grand Island, NY and Jodi (Nicola) Vaccaro of Rotterdam, NY, one Grandson Nico Vaccaro, one Sister Lucille Berard of Niagara Falls, NY, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 5 -9pm at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NEW YORK where funeral services will be held Wednesday March 18th at 10:00am.
