Debra Lynn Lafornia, 52, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Wednesday February 22, 2012 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Alamosa, CO she was the daughter of Lorraine (Gerald) Paul-Noznisky of Williamsville, NY and Hollywood, CA, and Timothy Lafornia of Niagara Falls, NY

Debra was employed at the Country Glenn Apartments on Grand Island, NY. She enjoyed cake decorating, designing gardens, gardening, and was a gifted artist. Most important to Debra was her son Jeremy, who she was devoted to take care of. Debra will be remembered for her vivacious personality and joyful outlook on life.

In addition to her parents, Debra is survived by her son Jeremy Philip Lafornia of Niagara Falls, NY; her fiancé Christopher Glass, two sisters Donna Lafornia, Lisa (Doug) Biermann both of Niagara Falls, NY; one brother Jason Neubauer of Niagara Falls, NY; her aunts and uncles Chickie and Steve Herceg and family Janet, Steve and Amy of Tonawanda, NY; Midgie and Bill Cocklin and family Josette, Christie and Billy of Hamburg, NY; Lou and Erma Gallob of Security CO; Frank and Sarah Chavez of Santé Fe, NM; Mark and Sally Noznisky of Kenmore, NY and Sammy and Faye Noznisky of Buffalo, NY; her great aunt Tia Connie Santistevan; Ginny Glass; as well as numerous other relatives across the United States.

Debra's family would like to extend special thanks to medical staff at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital and for all those who supported Debra in her care.

Visitation will be on Sunday February 26th from 2 – 4 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY concluding with a funeral service at 4:00 pm with Rev. Michael Zuffoletto, officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Flowers are gratefully declined.
