Obituary

Debra A. Miller, 71, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on September 18, 2026, at her residence. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Ellis S. “Leo” and Rose Marie (Malvestuto) George, and the wife of the late Robert I. “Bob” Miller, who predeceased her on December 14, 2014.

Debra was a graduate of LaSalle High School. She was employed for 30 years as a Manager in the Meat Department at Kroger’s Grocery in Chesterfield, MI, until her retirement in 2016, returning to the Niagara Falls area shortly thereafter.

Debra enjoyed reading, listening to music, dancing, singing, and going on cruises. She loved to cook and will be remembered for her extreme generosity and loving personality. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Balser and Stacy (Patrick) Donovan; her grandchildren, Stephen Donovan, Andre (Stephanie) Balser, and Eliana Novotny; her great‑grandchildren, Jayden, Jackson, and Lucy; and her step‑children, Tina (Joseph), Celeste, and Robynne. She is also survived by her loving companion of 10 years, Terry Raybon; her siblings, Margo (Bill) Jones, Leo (Sharon) George, Cynthia (Pete) Kaczowski, Albert (DiAnne) George, and Nancy (Dave) James; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Jan (late Carl) Raybon, and her step‑daughter, Mary Jane.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will be held at 7 PM. Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
