Della M. Chiazzese, 99, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Elderwood Healthcare at Crestwood in Wheatfield, NY. Born in Anita, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late James and Lillian (Piazza) Chiazzese.

Della moved to Niagara Falls, NY from Russell, PA in 1945. She was employed in the production department at Carborundum Corporation for over 33 years, until her retirement in 1978. Della was a member of the Carborundum Retired Alumni and enjoyed to travel.

Ms. Chiazzese is survived by her loving sister, Josephine M. Chiazzese, as well as several loving cousins. She was predeceased by one sister, Carmella Chiazzese.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29th from 10 – 11:00 A.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will follow at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Jeff Vogt officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg, NY. If desired, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
