He Lived to Fish
It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dennis on October 27, 2016. Dennis will be forever missed by his wife of 46 years, Cathie Colosimo Gough. He was the loving father to his sons, Jason Salvatore Gough and Corey Russell Gough. He is also survived by his sisters Violet (Ross) Norton and Marjorie (Carl) Sherrett; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as his father-in-law, Sam Colosimo and mother-in-law, Grace Colosimo.
Dennis was born on September 14, 1951 in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. Dennis married his wife, Cathie (Colosimo) Gough on November 14,1970. He worked for General Motors for 30 years, was a Home Inspector, Contractor, and Real Estate Agent. He most enjoyed fishing on Martha's Vineyard and won many fishing awards in the Martha's Vineyard Striped Bass and Bluefish Derby. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor and pranks. He loved playing guitar all his life and was always there to lend a helping hand. Dennis was predeceased by parents, Harold W. Gough and Jane Mckie Gough; brothers, Robert, John, Donald, Harold, and sisters Ida Hall, and Helen Plourde.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 2nd from 4 – 8 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will begin on Thursday at 11:00 A.M.
