Dennis R. Paolini, 65, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away of natural causes on Saturday December 4, 2010. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Emilio and Yolanda (DeMartile) Paolini.
Dennis was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. He attended local schools and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School. He later earned an associate's degree from the Culinary Institute of America and also attended Morrisville Business School. During the Vietnam War, he served in the U. S. Army from September 25, 1968 until his honorable discharge on September 25, 1972. Dennis was employed in the shipping and receiving department of Occidental Chemical Company. He also co-owned the former Horseshoe Lounge and owned the former Blackstone Grille all in Niagara Falls, NY. Dennis had a passion and skill for culinary arts which he taught at Niagara County Community College in Sanborn, NY.
Dennis was married to Nancy (Ferraro) Paolini; survived by three sons Joseph (Natalie Zuccari) Paolini of North Tonawanda, NY; John Paolini of Stroudsburg, PA and James Paolini of North Tonawanda, NY; one sister Mary (Al) Faieta of the Town of Niagara; two brothers Donald (Patty) Paolini of Wheatfield, NY and Anthony (Rose) Paolini of California and several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one brother Joseph Paolini and was the brother-in-law of Peggy LePage of Niagara Falls, NY.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where services will be held on Thursday December 9th at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Stewart Lindsay, O.S.F.S. officiating. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
