Desmond L. 'Gent' Bitting, 29, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on June 14, 2021 at Erie County Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son Linda M. Bitting and the late Tommy Sanders, Sr., and stepson of Frankie Rodgers, Sr.

Gent graduated from Niagara Falls High School. He was employed as the Head Cook at the Anchor Bar in Niagara Falls, NY. Gent enjoyed Rap and R&B Music, as well as drawing. He will be remembered as a hard and diligent worker that enjoyed spending time with his nephews.

In addition to his parents, Desmond is survived by his siblings, Tommy Sanders Jr., Mocellie (Ashanti) Bitting, Latoya King, Latrice (Leonard) King-Davis, Jimmie Caldwell, Claude (Alyssa) Caldwell, Latrell King, Anthony Bitting, Mokyle Little, Antwon Rodgers, Frankie Rodgers, Jr, Demario Rodgers, Demetrius Rodgers, Gloria Sanders, Robert Sanders, Courtney Sistrunk,and Yashika Paige, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He was predeceased by his brother, Darquan Allison.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 21 from 11 – 12 PM at Potter's House Christian Church, 723 7th Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14301, where funeral services will be held at 12 PM.  Interment in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to Bereaved Parents of the USA, https://www.bereavedparentsusa.org/donate/ .  Arrangements by M.J.
