Diane Skowronski, 77, of Lewiston, NY, was called to her heavenly home by God on February 15, 2021. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Sophie (Shabowski) Polewicz.

Diane was raised in Niagara Falls, where she graduated from Niagara Falls High School and married her beloved husband, Kenneth A. Skowronski, on June 12, 1965 in Holy Trinity Church. Together they moved to Lewiston and raised their two loving daughters. Diane worked at Lewiston-Porter Central Schools as a teacher's aide for over 40 years prior to her retirement.

Diane was a devout Catholic and longtime parishioner of St. Peter's Church where she generously volunteered much of her time. She was an excellent cook, especially her polish dishes. She cherished time with family and friends and loved to travel, especially to Disney World.

Diane was predeceased by her husband on March 28, 2014, after 49 memorable years together.  She is survived by her two daughters, Karen (Jon) Engel and Debbie Skowronski; her granddaughter, Lauryn Engel. She was also predeceased by her cherished sister, Marcia Kuczwanski.

Private services with Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery will be held privately for Diane's family. A Memorial Mass in St. Peter's Church will be held at a later date and time to be announced. Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for full obituary and online condolences.
