Dianne C. Bliss, 74, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on January 2nd, 2021, in Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Earl J. and Frances Ann (Kaurich) Bliss.

Dianne attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1966. She began working at the Clarkson House in Lewiston before entering the United States Army in 1978. Following her discharge from active duty, Dianne joined the United States Army Reserves until her final discharge after many years of dedicated service.

Dianne was a devout Catholic and longtime member of Our Lady of Lebanon Church, where she was also employed as the Office Manager.  She was an avid lover of animals, especially of her cats and dogs. She had a love for music which she regularly played guitar at weekly mass.  She enjoyed baking, cooking and crafting.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Dianne was predeceased by her siblings, Ronald, Kenneth, Carol and Donna Bliss, and Jeanette Atkins. She is survived by her lifelong best friend, Rose (Thomas) Dorgan, her goddaughter, Cheryl (Thomas) Deal, Richard (Sue) Boos, Mark Boos and Chris Boos, as well as her nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 7 from 11 A.M. – 1 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will follow at 1 P.M.
