Dolly (nee Molinaro) Gabriele Munzi, 94, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away Thursday October 21, 2010 at Elderwood at Crestwood Health Care Center in Wheatfield, NY. She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Nunziatta "Nancy" (Malvestuto) Molinaro. Dolly was predeceased by her husbands, Dominic Gabriele and Joseph Munzi

Dolly was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended local schools. During World War II she worked at the former Bell Aircraft in Wheatfield, NY. She later worked as a school crossing guard with the Niagara Falls Safety Department and retired in the 1970's. Dolly was member of the Ladies Cristoforo Colombo Society, Italian Sons and Daughters of America Volare Lodge #269, and NIACAP, all in Niagara Falls, NY.

She is survived by her children Jane (Rito) Vetrone of Niagara Falls, NY, Dominic (Margaret) Gabriele of Hopkinton, RI, Joseph Gabriele of Niagara Falls, NY, and Nancy (Gordon) Archer of Ft. Pierce, FL.; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; three sisters Loretta Lostracco of Summerfield, FL, Carrie (Paul) Chiodo and Sue (Peter) Malinverni both of Niagara Falls, NY and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dolly was predeceased by her two sisters and five brothers: Dominick Molinaro, Chris DiDomizio, Sam DiDomizio, Helen Foster, Lena Piccolo, Dan DiDomizio, and Adam DiDomizio.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 – 8 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday October 26th at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th St. and Independence Ave., Niagara Falls. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
