Dolores DiLaura, 81, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 24th, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late August and Ann (Waznia) DeSalvo.

Dolores moved to Niagara Falls with her family as a child and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1953. On May 26, 1956, she married Joseph DiLaura, Sr. at the former Our Lady of Lebanon Church, and spent 57 wonderful years together until his passing on September 8, 2013.

Dolores owned and operated the former Laura Mar Bridal store in Niagara Falls for over 20 years until her retirement. In her leisure time, she enjoyed bowling, cooking and watching the Buffalo Sabres. She also enjoyed spending time at the family cabin in Wilson, NY, but above all cherished the times spent with her family.

Mrs. DiLaura is survived by her children, Joseph (Diane Guthrie) DiLaura, Patrick DiLaura, Michael A. DiLaura and Ann Marie Mueller; grandchildren Kaitlyn Marie Mueller, Joseph M. DiLaura III, Samantha J. (Richard Grace) DiLaura and one great-granddaughter Mya Grace. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Patrick (Fran) DiLaura and son-in-law Keith Mueller.
