Dolores A. Ligammare, 84, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Elizabeth (Rufrano) Incorvia.

Dolores was educated in Niagara Falls.  She married Joseph A. Ligammare on April 23, 1955.  Mr. Ligammare predeceased Dolores on March 18, 2012. Dolores worked at Niagara Geriatric Center as a baker for many years.  She was a longstanding member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, faithfully attending daily Mass and serving as a Eucharistic Minister and Altar Server.   She enjoyed baking cakes, cookies and pastries for weddings and various occasions. Dolores centered her life around her beloved family and friends and was known for her unconditional love towards all walks of life in their time of need.

Mrs. Ligammare is survived by five children Richard Ligammare, Lisa (John) Balassone, Tina Ligammare, Joseph (Denise) Ligammare and Elizabeth (Nicholas) LeBay.  She was predeceased by one daughter Debora Avojan. Survivors also include four grandchildren Gianna Balassone, Alyssa Balassone, Nathan Ligammare, Isabella Ligammare; two sisters in law, Carmella Incorvia and Clara Ligammare; sixteen godchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Dolores was predeceased by four siblings, Margaret (late Frank) Serpa, Angelo Incorvia, Dominic Incorvia and Frank Incorvia.

Visitation will begin on Thursday from 4 – 7 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY.  Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, September 14 ^th at 10 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
