Dolores Norma Pastore, 90, of Grand Island, NY, passed away after a short illness on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of Samuel Costanzo and Margaret (Graber) Costanzo, and predeceased by her loving husband Leroy, her daughter Donna Marie, her granddaughter Andrea Lynn Frisina, and her siblings Mary (Critelli) Gersitz, Margie Macri and John Costanzo.

Her beauty and personality caught the eye of Leroy Pastore, and on April 10, 1948, they were married at St. Joseph's Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Their marriage exemplified true love and caring for one another.

Growing up in Niagara Falls, she worked in retail and retired from K-Mart with several years of service.

Dolores was very proud of her family and the wonderful life she built with her husband. Most of all, Dolores was loved and respected by her children, grandchildren, and all who knew her.

She enjoyed many vacations with her loving husband. Dolores loved cooking for her family, playing bingo, and challenging her grandchildren to a game of cards. She was talented in ceramics and she crocheted many beautiful afghans. She is noted for her quick wit and enjoyment of vibrant discussions especially on world issues. Her high level of energy and focus on hard work inspired her entire family.

Dolores is survived by two children, Joanne (Franklin) Frisina of New City, NY and Gregory (Patricia) Pastore of Grand Island, NY. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Prayers will be said at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel for her immediate family, but all are welcome for Dolores' Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 10:30AM in Holy Family Parish at Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to John R.
