On October 8, 2015, our Mother Domenica DiGregorio peacefully left this world for the Kingdom of Heaven to embrace her husband, sons and grandson. She is smiling on us now. Domenica was born in Niagara Falls, NY to the late Adamo and Italia (DeRubeis) Flaviani, who moved to Italy where she was raised from the age of 8 months. Domenica married Ini Cipollitti who died during World War II leaving her with two infant sons. She later married Giovanni DiGregorio and together they came to Niagara Falls to raise their family and start a new life.

Domenica was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family. She was also an avid bingo player and New York Yankees fan. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was our example of strength and perseverance. She is loved and missed by her children, Fernando (Stella) Cipollitti, Dante (Donna) Cipollitti, Antonio (Theresa) DiGregorio, Flora (Gregg) Travis, Mary Ann (late Michael) DiGregorio, Joanne (Marc) Merino, Ricardo (Lisa) DiGregorio and a sister Anna Flaviani of Italy. She was predeceased by sons PFC Joseph "Peppy" DiGregorio and Roberto (Janet) DiGregorio, and grandson Roberto DiGregorio, II. Domenica is also survived by 17 beloved grandchildren, 21 cherished great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 12 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
