Domenico Angelo Barile, Sr., 88, of Lewiston, NY passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston. Born in Macchiagodena, Italy he was the son of the late Antonio and Teresa Barile.

Domenico was educated in Italy and immigrated to the United States through New York City in July 1947 where he met his father for the first time. He joined his father to run the family business that Antonio started in 1926, the Orchard Grill on Main Street which became a very well known and prominent establishment in Niagara Falls. On April 23, 1960, he married Giovanna (Paoliello) Barile in Italy. Domenico was tremendously respected throughout the community, always helping those in need. He was a longtime devoted member of the former Sacred Heart Church in Niagara Falls. He enjoyed bowling and participated in local leagues on teams he sponsored by the Orchard Grill. Above all, Domenico's family was his life and priority.

In addition to his wife of fifty four years, Domenico is survived by four children, Teresa (Rocco) Notte of Youngstown, NY; Antonietta (Ricardo) Flores of Lewiston, NY; Antonio (Anna) Barile of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada and Domenico (Marisa) Barile, Jr. of Lewiston, NY; nine grandchildren, Philip Notte, Amanda Notte, Matthew Notte, Alyssa Flores, Sarina Flores, Ricardo Flores, Noah Barile, Nicholas Barile, Domenico Christopher Barile and was predeceased by granddaughters Nadia and Nicole Barile. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on Friday from 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. at the
M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Saturday December 13th at 8:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Stewart Lindsay, O.S.F.S. officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
