Dominic Marini, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on July 5 ^th , 2018 at Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Sebastiano and Teresa (Bucciarelli) Marini.

Dominic was raised in Niagara Falls and attended local schools, including Trott Vocational.  On September 10, 1949, he married Maria (Tiberi) Marini at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls.  Mrs. Marini predeceased him on April 12, 2006.  Dom served as a corporal in the New York State Guard from 1947 until his honorable discharge in 1950.

Dom was employed by the Niagara Falls Board of Education.  In addition, he was a lifelong barber/stylist, and the owner and operator of Dom's Barber Shop in Niagara Falls, NY.  Dom was also an accomplished musician and played the accordion at many weddings and nightclubs in the area.  He was a 3 ^rd Degree honorary member of the Knights of Columbus.  In his spare time, he enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening.

Mr. Marini is survived by his children, Dominic (Pat) Marini, Jr. and David (Julie) Marini, his grandchildren, Dawn Marini Straight, Dominic Marini III, Nicholas Marini, and Gillian Marini, two great grandchildren, Annika and Celyn, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 14 ^th from 9:30 – 11:15 A.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin at 11:15 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 P.M. Holy Family Parish at Mt. Carmel Church, 27 ^th and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301.  Entombment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to Mt.
