Donald W. Brenot, 96, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Schoellkopf Health Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY in 1928, he was the son of the late Rene E. and Cecile M. (Lalonde) Brenot.

Donald retired from the Niagara Falls Board of Education after many years of dedicated service. He was a longtime member of the John A. Duke Senior Citizen Center where he enjoyed attending dances, playing pool, and spending time with friends. Donald loved to travel and went on numerous cruises. In his youth, he enjoyed boating and water skiing on the Black River at Brenot Manor, Pefferlaw, Ontario Canada.

Donald is survived by his sister Delphine (late Martin) Falbo; grandsons David Brenot, and Eric (Laura) Brenot; great-grandchildren, Jenna, Kaleb, and Levi; nieces Suzette (Tony) Ribeiro, and Danielle (Scott) Thomas; nephews David DeMunn, and Christopher Falbo; and cousins, Jean Maurice (Audrey) Lalonde, and Jean Guy (Connie) Lalonde.

Donald was predeceased by his sister Delores (Arthur) DeMunn; his sons Bruce (Debra) Brenot, and Rene (Randy) Brenot; nephews Scott DeMunn, and Martin (Doreen) Falbo; and dear friend Alice Trietley.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Schoellkopf Health Center for the comfort and care given to Donald.

There will be no prior visitation or services held for Donald.  Private interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY, will be held at the convenience of the family.
