Donna M. Granite, 95, of Lockport, NY, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, at Niagara Hospice House. Born in Lumber City, PA, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Erma (Hepfer) Conklin. She was raised in Clearfield, PA, where she graduated from high school.

On June 21, 1952, Donna married the love of her life, Peter L. Granite, at the First Presbyterian Church in Niagara Falls, NY. For many years, she volunteered at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. A talented and generous seamstress, she completed countless alterations, especially for those in need, through the First Presbyterian Church in Lockport, NY.

Donna was a longtime member of Hyde Park Presbyterian Church while living in Niagara Falls. She and her husband spent three years living in New Bern, NC, before returning to Western New York and building their home in Lockport in 1990. She later became a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lockport, where she lovingly led tours of the historic church for several years. Above all, Donna loved her family dearly.

Donna is survived by two children, Gary Granite and Rena (John) McCune; her grandchildren, Maria (John) Schultz, Jennifer (Mike Sharp) Bax, Melissa (Jeff Bray) Bax, Alfred Bax, Matthew McCune, Sabrina (Jonathan) LaNasa, and Sara McCune; and her great‑grandchildren, Andrew Schultz and Carmin Elizabeth LaNasa. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband in 2025, and was sadly predeceased by her daughter, Sue Ann Bax.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 17 from 11 – 12 Noon at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin at 12 Noon.
