Donna Lee (Ankenbauer) Griffith, age 69, of the Town of Wheatfield, NY, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, May 23, 2017.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY on April 14, 1948, she is the daughter of the late Robert and Marion (Eydt) Ankenbauer.

Donna graduated from LaSalle Senior High School in 1966. On June 5, 1971, she married her loving husband Ronald Harley Griffith.  She worked at various jobs over the years, including Walkers Laundry, Ohmtech, Woodward Insurance Agency, Tuskewe Krafts (Patterson Lacrosse).  She also spent many years babysitting at her home.

Donna was a member of Bacon Memorial Presbyterian Church where she was a Deacon and involved with many activities within the church. Donna was a member of the Presbyterian Women's Group and served as their treasurer for many years.  She was a member and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the LaSalle Griffin Post 917 VFW. Donna and her husband Ron helped organize and run the Booster Club for Niagara Wheatfield Wrestling Club where she also was the videographer.

In addition to her husband of 45 years, she is survived by her four children, Jeffrey (Cathy), Jason, Joel (Kimberly) Griffith and Jamie Hewitt.  She is the cherished grandmother of Justin Nappo, Reanna Hewitt, Kaylee Griffith, Raselyn Hewitt and Rya Hewitt and devoted sister of Gary (Mary) Ankenbauer. She is also the sister in law of Janice (Tony) Pulli, Joan (Don) MacLeod, Kathy (Vern) Pressley, Diane (Rob) Reid and Randy (Angie) Griffith. Donna was blessed with three godsons, Todd Neubauer, Scott Ankenbauer and David Griffith. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 7 – 9 PM and Friday at 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 Military Rd, Niagara Falls NY, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 27 ^th at 11:00 A.M.
