Obituary

Donna (Pisarski) Nolan, 51, of Niagara Falls, NY, entered peacefully into rest surrounded by her family on Monday May 13, 2013 at Buffalo General Hospital. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Alexander and Josephine (Vitello) Pisarski.

Donna attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1980. On May 10, 1986 she married Daniel V. Nolan at Sacred Heart Church in Niagara Falls, NY. She was employed at ParMed Pharmaceuticals until leaving to raise her family. She was an active member and volunteer of the Parent-Teacher Associations while her daughters were attending Niagara Falls schools. Donna was an excellent cook who was well known for her Italian baked goods. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandsons. Donna will be missed by all who knew her.

Donna is survived by Daniel, her husband of twenty seven years, two daughters Katie Allaire Nolan (fiancé Angelo 'Cos' Cusatis) of Wilson, NY and Elyse Marie Nolan of Niagara Falls, NY. She was the cherished grandmother to Victor James and Angelo Joseph 'AJ'. She is also survived by one brother David (Michelle) Pisarski of Boise, ID; two sisters Barbara (Jack) Tierney of Vero Beach, FL and Carol (Mark) Czajkowski of Kenmore, NY; her mother-in-law Patricia (late Richard) Nolan of Niagara Falls, NY;brothers- and sisters-in law Judi (Bill) Powell of Grand Island, NY; Jeanette (Neil) Druks of Weston, CT; Peggy (Joseph) DeLoreto, Rich Nolan both of Niagara Falls, NY and Jim Nolan of Lanai, HI. She was the dearest aunt and godmother to Kristin Hall and Allison Pisarski and also survived by
her nieces and nephews Tara and John Kubalok, Tony and Zach Merrick, Tiffany Richey, Sara Johnson, Erin, Rich and Meredith Nolan; Matthew and Samantha Druks and several aunts, uncles, cousins and her cherished dog, Archie.

The family gives special thanks to the nurses and medical staff of the M.I.C.U. at Buffalo General Hospital.

The family will be present on Wednesday from 7 – 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. at M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Friday May 17th at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Vincent DePaul at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Robert Hughson officiating. Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the newly established Schoellkopf Health Center Hospice - Niagara Unit (SHC Hospice) at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, 621 Tenth Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14302.
