Donna M. Parent, 65, of Youngstown, NY, passed away on December 8, 2022 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late William J. and RoseMarie (Quarcini) Kupfer.

Donna was a graduate of LaSalle High School.  On July 15, 1978, she married Ronald M. Parent at Niagara University Alumni Chapel.  Donna was employed at the Marine Midland Branch in LaSalle, and later as a Civilian Employee with the 914 ^th Airborne Division at the Niagara Falls Air Base.  She took time off to raise her children, but for the past 22 years, she was employed as a Data Processor with the Lewiston-Porter School District, until her retirement in 2022.  She was affectionately known by her co-workers as "MacGyver" for her problem solving and fixing abilities.

Donna was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Amherst, the Kiwanis Club of Northern Niagara County, was an Officer for the Lewiston Porter Federal Credit Union, and volunteered as a timer for the Lewiston-Porter Swim Team for 20 years.  Deeply devoted to her faith, Donna was a member of St. Bernard's Church in Youngstown, where she served as their longtime Director of Religious Education.

Above all, Donna was deeply devoted to her family, never missing a sporting or school event.  She cherished her time spent with her grandchildren, and loved spoiling her grand fur babies.  She loved baking and gardening, butterflies and hummingbirds, and collecting spoons and bells.   Donna fought her battle with cancer with determination and courage, and was an inspiration to all.

In addition to her beloved husband of 44 years, Donna is survived by her children, Noelle (Brockton) Selkow, Danielle Parent, and Marc (Megan) Parent; her grandchildren, Maddox Wheeler Selkow and Charlotte Rose Selkow; her brother, William J. (MaryLynn) Kupfer, Jr.; her mother-in-law, Dolores (late Emile) Parent, and sisters-in-law, Deborah (Michael) Graham, Donna (Charles) Chisholm, and Cynthia (James) Mykinis, as well as by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 13 from 2 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin on Wednesday at 9:15 AM followed by Donna's Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM, in St. Bernard Church, 218 Hinman St., Youngstown, NY 14174.  Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.  Flowers are graciously declined.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Roswell Park or Niagara Hospice.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
