Dorine L. (Thaler) Hoholek, 74 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Saturday March 28, 2009 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Simon L. and Ida L. (Price) Thaler and step-daughter of the late Robert Thaler.

Dorine was raised in Youngstown, NY and a graduate of Lewiston-Porter High School. In her younger years she worked as a waitress at the former Harding's Restaurant in Youngstown. Dorine's life centered around her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She also had a love for dogs particularly her pet dog Sam, and was a member of the Niagara County SPCA.

Dorine is survived by her loving companion of thirty three years Chester A. Barosky of Niagara Falls, NY, her two sons; Louis (Brenda Freiert) Hoholek and David M. (Taralee Reith) Hoholek both of Niagara Falls, NY, her daughter-in-law Rose Hoholek of Niagara Falls, NY, four grandchildren; Amanda Marie, Marissa Marie, Evan David and Ethan Mark Hoholek, three brothers; Robert (Rose) Thaler of Youngstown, NY, Daryl (Diane) Thaler of Pennsylvania and Earl Thaler of Maine, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by two brothers; Mark Thaler and Don (Marilyn of Niagara Falls, NY) Thaler.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI AND SON FUNERAL CHAPEL 468 19TH STREET NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Thursday April 2nd at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Charles Lamb officiating.
