Dorothy Jean (Webb) Calandrelli, 95 of Niagara Falls, NY died on Friday September 17, 2010 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Born in Grimsby, Ontario, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Johanna (Martin) Webb.

Jean as she was affectionately known to family and friends was raised and educated in Canada. On June 10, 1935 she married Robert Calandrelli in St. Catherines, Ontario. Mr. Calandrelli predeceased her in 1997. Jean worked as a switch board operator in Niagara Falls, first with Union Carbide, and later Occidental Chemical Company, formerly Hooker Chemical Co., where she became a receptionist for the corporate headquarters. In her leisure time, Jean enjoyed luncheons with her co-workers and friends.

Mrs. Calandrelli is survived by her two sons, Robert S. (Beverly) Calandrelli of Chicago, IL, David Calandrelli of Niagara Falls, NY, four grandchildren, Robin Jakacki, Craig S. (Carrie) Calandrelli, Lisa (Charles) Nickles, Terri (Brian) Orsilits, six great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by eight sisters and one brother.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI AND SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Tuesday September 21st at 11:00 a.m..
