Dorothy Jane Kline, 83, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 16th, 2015 at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility in Niagara Falls. Born and raised in Springville, NY, Dorothy attended local schools and graduated from Memorial Nursing School in 1952.

On June 20, 1953, Dorothy married Lewis R. Kline at the United Methodist Church in Springville, NY. She was employed as a Registered Nurse for over sixty years at various doctor's offices including the Doctor's Associates of N.F., the office of Dr. Taylor and Dr Ricotta, as well as Dr. Chandan's practice all located in Niagara Falls. Dorothy was a caretaker to all naturally and truly enjoyed her profession. She was a longtime member of the St. James United Methodist Church and their choir. Dorothy also enjoyed cooking, but most of all spending time with her four loving grandchildren.

In addition to her husband of 62 years, Dorothy is survived by her two children, Susan (William) Kline and Luann (James) Conte both of Niagara Falls; and four grandchildren, Steven Kline, Emma (William) Banangis, Holly Conte and Patrick Conte.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 19th from 4 – 8 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin on Thursday at 10:15 A.M., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 A.M. in St. James Methodist Church, 4661 Porter Road, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Matthew Kofahl officiating. Interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Olanta, PA will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dorothy Kline Scholarship Fund c/o Catholic Academy of N.F., 1055 N. Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY.
