Dorothy V. (Swogier) Krupa, 77, of Amherst NY; died on Friday July 23, 2010 at Hospice Buffalo in Cheektowaga, NY. Born in Amherst, NY she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Bertha (Warmus) Swogier.

Dottie, as she was known to everyone, was employed as an assembler at the Wurlitzer Plant in North Tonawanda, NY and later worked in Housekeeping at the Holiday Inn in Amherst, NY. On April 15, 1963 she married Joseph F. Krupa at St. Christopher's Church in Tonawanda, NY. Mr. Krupa predeceased her. Dottie was an active member of various senior citizen clubs in the Amherst area. In her leisure time, she enjoyed playing Bingo but her greatest pleasure was spending time with her grandchildren.

Dottie is survived by two children Karen A. (Krupa) Cumpston of Amherst, NY and Joseph G. (Kerry) Krupa of Virginia Beach, VA; six grandsons; one sister Pat (late Raymond) Conley of Lockport, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother Stanley (late Betty) Swogier.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Saturday September 4th at 9:30 a.m. in St. Christopher Church, 2660 Niagara Falls Boulevard, Tonawanda, NY. Interment in White Chapel Memorial Park, North Tonawanda, NY. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Buffalo, 225 Como Park Boulevard, Cheektowaga, NY 14227-1480.
