Dorothy F. Oliverio, 77, of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026, at Niagara Hospice House. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Jesse "Bob" and Hazel (Humphrey) Davis.

Raised in Niagara Falls, Dorothy was a proud graduate of LaSalle High School. On May 23, 1970, she married the love of her life, Frank A. Oliverio Jr., at St. Joseph's Church, a partnership marked by deep devotion, and a lifetime of loving memories.

Dorothy co-owned and operated Salon Sherry on Buffalo Avenue for many years alongside her sister, Suzanne, creating a welcoming space where clients often became friends. She also worked in pharmaceutical sales with ParMed and VIP Pharmaceuticals for several years.

Dorothy found joy in going out to dinner, shopping, and spending time with her friends and family, especially her beloved nieces and nephews, who held a special place in her heart. In her younger years, she enjoyed golfing and was a former member of Niagara Frontier Country Club, where she and Frank spent many happy days on the course together.

Dorothy will be remembered for her kindness, her easy smile, and the love she shared so generously with those around her.

In addition to her husband of 55 years, Dorothy is survived by her sisters, Cheryl (Michael) Cuddahee and Suzanne (late David) Richards; her sister-in-law, Margaret (Vincent) Martello, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank Sr. and Louise (Crapis) Oliverio.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are welcome to attend Dorothy's Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, January 7 at 12 Noon in St. Peter's Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY, 14092. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY, in lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice at niagarahospice.org. Arrangements by M.J.
