Dorothy J. Snider, 84, of Sanborn, NY, passed away on July 22, 2022 at Niagara Hospice House. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Simon and Dorothy (Luick) Frawley.

Dorothy was raised in Niagara Falls where she was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church and a graduate of LaSalle Senior High School. She began working at the Carborundum Company and later worked in retail at the Niagara Falls Fashion Outlets.

Dorothy enjoyed to travel and spend time with her family and friends. Above all, she centered her life around her children.

Mrs. Snider is survived by her husband, George Snider; her children, John Snider, Terri (Richard) Szuflita and George Snider Jr., as well as many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her siblings, Ann (late Stanley) Fetter, Charles Frawley and Elaine (late Robert) Trbovich.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 6 from 2 – 3 PM at Grace Lutheran Church, 736 Cayuga Drive, Niagara Falls, NY 14304 , where funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM. Interment will be held privately in Acacia Park Cemetery. Memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice House, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
