Doug Willison, 53, of N. Tonawanda went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 29, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Buffalo, NY he was the son of Patricia (Emerick) Willison and the late William Willison, Jr.

On October 28, 1989 he married the love of his life, Audra (Lemieux) Willison and they went on to have two sons, his heart and joy, Austin and Victor Willison. He was such an amazing father and a hero to them both. Doug was also survived by his brother Brian (Lori) Willison, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law and several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

Hockey was a big part of Doug's life; whether he was between the pipes, coaching or watching his son, Austin play. In the warmer months, he absolutely loved to spend his spare time camping with his wife, sons and their dogs, plus friends and family. Doug will be remembered by all as a man of great faith, an avid NY Yankee fan and golf enthusiast with a heck of a drive. His absence will be deeply felt by his friends, which were more like family to him, at Great Lakes Orthodontics of Tonawanda, where he worked for 25+ years. Dougie touched the lives of all who knew him and his infectious laugh and wicked sense of humor will be greatly missed but never forgotten!

Visitation will begin on Thursday, July 5 ^th from 3-8 P.M. at M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Fellowship/Visitation will begin on Friday, July 6 ^th with coffee and pastries 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. at Creekside Assembly of God, 2625 Tonawanda Creek Road, Amherst, NY 14228 followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 P.M. (Noon).
