Duane A. Delgrolice, Sr., 60, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Tuesday January 24, 2012 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of Helen M. (Tuttle) Delgrolice of Niagara Falls, NY and the late Nicholas F. Delgrolice, Jr.

Duane was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. He attended local schools and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School in 1969. He served in the United States Navy from 1971 until his honorable discharge in 1979. On September 25, 1998 he married Tina (Marshanke) Delgrolice in Niagara Falls, NY. For twenty three years, Duane was employed at Occidental Chemical Company in Niagara Falls, NY working as a boiler operator and in instrumentation. He was a member of the American Legion and the Oxy Retirement Club. Duane was an avid outdoorsman and especially loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed golfing, bowling and was a passionate Green Bay Packers fan. Above all, Duane was devoted to his family.

In addition to his wife, Duane is survived by his four children, Andrea L. (Lance) Wells of Tonawanda, NY; Duane A. Delgrolice, Jr. of Niagara Falls, NY; Nicole (Cory) Bower of Grand Island, NY and Anthony Falcone of Niagara Falls, NY; three grandchildren, Tyler E. Wells, Madelynn R. Wells and Sibyl Ann Delgrolice, one brother Nicholas R. Delgrolice of Niagara Falls, NY; one sister Barbara (Brad) Phillips of Niagara Falls, NY as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on Saturday January 28th from 2 – 6 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where services will follow at 6 p.m. with Rev. Laura Norris-Buisch officiating and concluding with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the National Wildlife Federation, 11100 Wildlife Center Dr. Reston, VA 20190.
