Obituary

Earlie E. Harris, 62, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on January 30, 2026 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Charles and Annie (Laster) Harris.

Earlie was raised in Buffalo, where he graduated from high school. He worked as at Horizon Village Rehabilitation and later spent more than ten years as a medical delivery driver for Pine Pharmacy, Falls Pharmacy, and CVS. A dedicated and hardworking man, he also owned and operated his own car sales business, HHP Auto, in Niagara Falls for 20 years. On August 13, 2011, Earlie married the love of his life, Irish N. (Palmer) Harris, in Niagara Falls, NY.

He was an active Mason and proud member of Saint John's Lodge #16 F. & A. M., Companion Chapter #35 Holy Royal Arch Masons, Emmanuel Commandery #21 Knights Templar, Issachar Council #27 Royal and Select Masters,  Bison Consistory #29 Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, and Hadji Temple #61 Ancient Arabic and Egyptian Nobles of the Mystic Shrine.

A passionate motorcycle enthusiast, he belonged to the Black Yankees Motorcycle Club in Buffalo. Earlie was also a devoted member of Narcotics Anonymous for 32 years, where he was known for his unwavering commitment to selfless service and for teaching others the importance of giving back. Earlie was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, loved good food, and was known for his big sense of humor. Above all, he cherished every moment spent with his family.

In addition to his wife of 14 years, Earlie is survived by his children, Linaisha (Bobby) Purdue, Junia Jones, Ashley Barnes, Sharika Harris, and James Labarber; 15 grandchildren; and 2 great‑grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Charles Harris, William (Faith) Harris, Anthony Harris, Opelia (Walter James) Brown, James Harris, Shauna Applewhite, Jessie Harris, and Nadine (Daniel) Applewhite; and by his in‑laws, Gregory Palmer, James Palmer, Cynthia Palmer, and Chaointe Davis. Earlie leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to his caregivers—Marquitta Cox, Devin Palmer, Patricia Vincent, and his daughter, Ashley Barnes—for their loving and compassionate care.
